TERMS & CONDITIONS
PAYMENT All animals sell first, come first serve. A $500 deposit holds your selected steer/heifer. The deposit is transferable to another available animal but is non-refundable if you change your mind on purchasing. The remainder is due in full prior to pick up/transport off of Crossing Creek Cattle premises. You will be invoiced by Hillview Farms Ltd. for your purchase. Payment must be made by cash, cheque, or online banking e-transfer in Canadian funds before purchase(s) leave the possession of Colin and Tessa Verbeek. A charge of an additional 2% of the total amount owing will be added to any NSF cheques. Purchases cannot leave the yard until full payment has been made.

PICK UP All calves must be removed from Crossing Creek Cattle by October 15, 2026 unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon by Crossing Creek Cattle and the buyer. We can assist with arrangements to get your purchase home. We have sent many prospects out of province in previous years and know excellent options for trucking and are happy to line up hauling arrangements. If you are from out of province, please don’t hesitate to contact us prior to the sale to discuss trucking. Long-haul trucking will be at buyer’s expense. All testing and associated fees with transporting cattle across the US border are at the expense of the buyer.
OWNERSHIP/RISK Each animal becomes the purchaser’s risk immediately after the animal is paid in full. Prior to payment in full, should something unforeseen happen to your purchase that renders them unacceptable to sell, we will refund your deposit.
WARRANTY All calves are sold as is on the date of purchase. Buyers acknowledge that all animals are available for inspection prior to purchase and that Tessa and Colin Verbeek are available to call prior to the sale to discuss the prospects. We will accurately and truthfully describe the cattle to the best of our knowledge. All cattle are fully vaccinated and in good health at the time of the private treaty transaction.
AGREEMENT By purchasing a calf from Crossing Creek Cattle, you agree that you have read and agreed to the private treaty sale terms and conditions set by Crossing Creek Cattle.
