TERMS & CONDITIONS
BID INCREMENTS Bids are accepted in $100 increments up to $2,000. After $2,000 bid increments increase to $250 each bid. You can increase the bid on any calf to any amount; however your bid must match the bidding increments.
PROXY BIDS For your convenience, the sales contacts will accept a maximum proxy bid on any lot(s) which will be treated with the utmost integrity.
PAYMENT is due in full upon the pick-up or delivery of your purchase(s). Payment must be made by cash, cheque, or online banking e-transfer in Canadian funds. Cheques can be made payable to Colin Verbeek and/or Tessa Verbeek. A charge of an additional 2% of the total amount owing will be added to any NSF cheques.
OWNERSHIP/RISK All calves become the property of the buyer as soon as the calf is declared sold, at which time time the buyer assumes all risks.
DELIVERY All calves must be removed from Crossing Creek Cattle by November 15, 2021 unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon by Crossing Creek Cattle and the buyer. We will assist in delivery to central locations or help make other arrangements to get your purchase home. Long-haul trucking will be at buyers expense. All testing and associated fees with transporting cattle across the US border are at the expense of the buyer.
WARRANTY All calves are sold as is on the date of sale. Bidders acknowledge that all lots are available for inspection prior to the sale.
LIABILITY Every precaution will be taken to protect the health, safety and comfort of buyers. The owners, their employees, sale staff and representatives accept no liability for accidents, illness, or loss of property that may occur. Everyone who attends the open house and sale do so at their own risk.
AGREEMENT By placing a bid in the Crossing Creek Cattle Prospect Steer and Heifer Sale, you agree that you have read and agreed to the sale terms and conditions set by Crossing Creek Cattle.
